Solano Hispanic Chamber Announces Newly Elected Board

FAIRFIELD, CA (August 1, 2019)- The Solano Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SHCC), has announced the newly elected board of directors for the 2019-2020 term. The board of directors are responsible for promoting the organization’s mission and values, financial oversight, ethical and legal governance, and for seeking opportunities that benefit its members and community partners.


“I enter my seventh year serving this organization with a strong vision of what I know we are able to accomplish,” said Alma Hernandez, President of the Chamber. “Our board of directors bring a strong collective professional experience and knowledge that will serve our membership and community well.”

The Chamber is committed to opportunities that will increase the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion of minority owned businesses, female owned businesses, multilingual and multicultural businesses with an emphasis in Hispanic/Latino owned businesses and businesses serving the Hispanic/Latino community in Fairfield, Suisun City, Rio Vista, Dixon, Vacaville, Vallejo, and Benicia.

The 2019-2020 Executive Board of Directors include:

President / Fundraising/ Gala Committee Chair: Alma Hernandez, National Events Coordinator for New Tech Network and owner of Vivanti Event Planning. Resident of the City of Suisun City.

1st Vice President / Communications Committee Chair : Leo Callejas, owner of Digital Track--Digital Marketing Agency. Resident of the City of Fairfield, CA.

2nd Vice President / Education/ Procurement/ Workforce Development of the Future Committee Chair / Scholarship Committee Chair:  Gerson Monterroso, Realtor at Inspired Dream Realtor. Resident of the City of Vacaville.

3rd Vice President: Mario Saucedo, CEO and President of the Solano AIDS Coalition. Resident of the City of Vallejo.
