Solano County joins 40 other Counties in the Purple Tier. The recent surge is the fastest increase that the State has seen since the beginning of the pandemic. COVID Update Governor Newsom changed the business closure reporting process again today. He will no longer wait to report on Tuesday, allow a grace implementation period, or graduate up/down in a measured method. He did retain the color-tier system and its guidelines for the time being. Solano County Public Health shared the following announcement on its website this afternoon: UPDATE (11/16/20):  Solano County officially moves to purple tier immediately The State has announced that Solano County, along with 40 other Counties, is reverting back to widespread (purple) tier due to a rapid rise in cases over the last couple weeks.
